Streaming + Device & App

I have a syndicated show set to record M-F from a local station. The recording misses the minute or so every time. We have the Streaming flavor - not a box. The result is the same via PC web browser or app on Firestick. I don't find any way to add padding to the beginning of the recording. And other

Works on regular tvs, my tablet and my phone - just not from my PC. Restarted my PC - same results. Other streaming services work fine e.g. Netflix, Paramount etc.

Why do channels sometimes take a long time to pop in? Sometimes seconds upto minutes before coming on. After unplugging and plugging it back in it works fine for a day or to then starts up again. I have a newer Samsung tv. also does same on lg tv.

I normally get Dodger & Laker games through these channels but now they are not even appearing as channels. I did not change anything. I have no blackouts or anything until today.
