I want to record NBC Nightly News on my local NBC channel 6 at 5:30PM. But Direct TV is refusing to record that, and instead it is recording a program on NBC News Now channel 4004 at 9PM. Both the channel and the time are wrong. When I watch what is recorded, at about 7PM, it's useless day old news.

How can you pause a program on live tv and then come back to watch it 20 minutes later. It never seems to hold the program. I have never had this issue with other services. We have a Samsung TV with Apple TV. Also, how do you rewind a show quickly.
