ISO ADA / Large Button Remote for Direct TV

ISO ADA / Large Button Remote for Direct TV  for seniors. ... I have read through others requests for this also, and DTV's response (for years!) of 'we'll forward this suggestion...'    WHY is DTV  not required to provide an ADA remote?   Is there a universal model that is compatible?  If so, which one is it - type/description/link please?   Thank you to anyone who has solved this ongoing issue.

Hi there. We heard your request regarding an ISO ADA / Large Button Remote for Direct TV for seniors. As of now, we don't provide an ADA remote. Our Universal Remote Controls are guaranteed to program to your DIRECTV receiver and operate most devices. We'll forward this to our team to check the possibility of starting to work on it. DIRECTV appreciates your feedback. 💙

Many senior citizens use your system. Some cannot easily use your current remote control. Buttons are too small, to close together and hard to read. Please address this problem before my spouse drives me crazy with all the yelling.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

@Dunkinsherry

DirecTV makes a simple remote for their boxes. If you want something special there are 3rd party "universal" remotes you can look into.

This is a public customer to customer forum and as you can see the answer to this request has remained the same. Hasn't changed since this thread back in 2024. Would be nice if their own option was offered, but nothing shows there being one in the foreseeable future.
