Does DirecTV Stream require a 24-month contract?

I see a 24-month commitment period and steep early termination fee in the fine print, but then on the ordering page it clearly says month-to-month, cancel anytime. Which is correct?

Samsung smart tv app has no profiles

The app available on my new Samsung smart TV doesn't have the ability to choose a profile. My old tv with a Roku had profiles, as do my phone and tablet apps. Did the profile option not get rolled out to that app??

DIRECTV Streaming does not recognize my user ID and PW

There was a power outage and TV wasn't connecting to the network, so I rebooted. Everything then came on but DTV asked for sign-on. I entered it but it was not accepted. Taxes on my bill

After about 6 months of Directv streaming I suddenly get a tax on on my billing statement of $9.21. I called Directv and all that could tell me is that it’s a New Jersey tax for service. Can anyone tell me what’s going on here? Why suddenly after 6 months I am getting this charge?

Hi, I've had a Samsung TV with DirecTV and everything worked well. I had not turned it on for a couple of weeks. I now turned it on, and asks me to log in, which I did through the QR code, etc. and it says something about an issue on AT&T side. I now logged in, but this time by typing on the screen
