Changes to DTV Programming Features

I hope Mr. John Abzidir reads my new post today, 7/6/26.  Another lie when it comes to explanations about changes in DTV programming features (Cast & Crew and Ways to Watch).  No one asked for this change.

ATTENTION TO ALL DIRECTV VIEWERS.  As a long time customer I have some new information regarding the Feature changes to Directv programming.  Early May 2026 the features changed under View Series such as Cast and Crew option, as well as How to Watch.  Guest starts were not showing with the list of regular stars. This was changed without prior notification to customers. After writing to BBB for getting wrong information from customer service several times as to why it happened, and being told it was a "software problem", I found out today 7/6/26 that a 2nd(?) party called "Common Sense Media" was responsible for ending their service with DTV in March 2026, therefore customers were left with watching different features ongoing.  I never knew about Common Sense Media and have since looked up their website which explains their services to DTV.  Has anyone else out there heard of Common Sense Media?  Not that I was looking for restitution but the agent did offer a discount for a year which I normally received thru their Loyalty Program.  I can't say I am pleased with the change and not being notified that this happened, making me believe a software problem was the actual issue and it should be fixed in a few weeks when I called in May.  To be honest, this is an unfair practice and DTV should be taken to court.  I am a senior so maybe if this happened years ago I would have but it does take time and effort to do that.  I am just letting DTV customers know what I FINALLY found out.  I am not a fan of streaming but that is what I feel sometimes with watching some shows.  I hope Corporate understands that there are people out there who want answers and not be led astray.  I, for one, get to the bottom of things.
