Closed Captioning Keeps Turning On
I have DirectTV Stream and use the C71KW-400 box from ATT.
I turn closed captioning off and it randomly keeps turning back on. It always comes back on ... in hours or days. The problem is the same on 7 different TVs and boxes.
Internet speed via ethernet is 240 Mbps on TV
I have done the following:
- Checked System Update
- Performed Restart
- Performed Factory Reset
None of this works. Can anyone help with a recomendation?

Are you sharing a profile with the other tv's in the house? Maybe someone else on another tv (on the same profile) is turning the captions off.

Thank you very much for the reply.
Your thought was correct. I found out that my wife was changing it on another tv. I didn't know that she knew how to do that. Can I eliminate the problem by creating a new profile?

Yes. Create a separate profile for your wife.
